Samsung Galaxy Camera Review

Hi everyone, hope you all had a lovely weekend! This is a very different sort of post compared to the usual beauty and fashion related reviews i upload but i thought that it may be useful for anybody that is after a new camera/ android device.!
I am no technology whiz kid but i have really fallen in love with this camera. I have been wanting a better camera for a while now so that i could take it to Florida with me this year and for my gap year travelling. I had been searching around for a while but nothing really stood out to me. However i went shopping last week and suddenly noticed the beautiful new Samsung Galaxy camera in the window. The sleek white design really caught my eye so i decided to have a little go on it. First of all the quality of the photos really impressed me, it is 16 megapixels, has a clear HD touch display. plus it has a 21x zoom lens so the pictures look just like real life. You can also scroll through "smart scene" modes such as Best face, Beauty face, Fireworks, Waterfall, Panorama, Action Freeze, Continuous shot and many more.
I then realised that not only was it a good camera but it is also an android media player too so it is a two in one device. You can use all the usual apps such as Instagram, ITV player etc, go on to the interenet, watch videos, write blog posts on it (which i am currently doing now), and you can even insert your sim card and text off it (however it does not allow you to make phone calls).
It is quite a large, heavy camera but that is because of the huge 4.8 inch, 16:9 widescreen display which is great for watching videos on, taking pictures etc. This is a pricey camera at around £400 but i defiantly think it is 100% worth it if you are looking for a good quality camera and would enjoy the fact that you can use it like a Samsung tablet too as the camera combines the functions of an Android device.
Pros: Beautiful 4.8-inch display. Runs Instagram and all other Android apps. Long 21x zoom range. Good high ISO performance. Can take photos, write blog posts etc and then upload them straight away, Always-on network connectivity.
Cons: Expensive. Some people may find it a bit too large. May need to charge regularly if you are using apps etc a lot as it can drain battery life quickly.
